Dumeril question!

Jeeze, I'm always asking questions!

We have our dumeril for about 2 months now and he's always borrowed. He also still has not eaten. This past sunday was the first day he didnt borrow and he hasnt since then. Does this mean he is comfortable now and do you think he will eat? Also, is borrowing something that dumerils do?

Thanks,
Jessica

Hem, i would be kinda worried for your snake!!!! If it is a baby, then it's having a pretty hard time! Burrowing is supposed to be normal for Dumeril's since they're ambush hunter and they spend their time under the substrate... I've had mine for nearly three weeks and she stayed under the substrate for the hole time, only getting out once in a while. She ate at every time i offered her food within her cage, try putting a live rat pup in there during the night...

phil.
