Hi there I think my female veiled is pregnant and I 'doing an incubator from an old refrigerator. Next days I'll upload some pix .I'm looking for info about incubation - temp, humidity, substrate etc.
I use a 1:1.5 parts water to perlite by weight. incuabate them at 27c and about 90% humidity, they useally take about 6months 2 weeks at that temp. have hatched out 100s of them this way and have only had 1 die on me.
I use store bought incubators, hova-bators to be exact. They have a couple spots in the bottom which I fill with water and replace as it evaporates. I keep a humidity gauge in the incubator to monitor the humidity. I've never had to add any extra water to the perlite, as the high humidity in the incubator doesn't allow it to dry out much.
