Hate that feeling.....

When you find an empty tupperware container, that's supposed to have a snake in it!!! One of my Albino Nelsons escaped tonight while I was cleaning thier enclosures.... After feverishly and systematically tearing my room apart, I found the little guy curled up in my bed....so it's all good. When I get to borrow a camera I'll post pic of em all, they are soo damn nice lookin!!

I know what you went through. Once one of my Garter snakes escaped I freaked out. I searched my whole apartment with no luck, then I noticed a small hole in the wall where a cable wire used to be... and guess what thats where it was. I had to make the hole bigger to get it out. I was lucky.

I'm happy for you that you found your snake.

That exact same thing happened last year with one of my Cals - The night before I was leaving to Australia...

I knew if I didn't find her, I was gone for a month, and she'd be long gone when I got back, not to mention it would've pretty much destroyed my vacation, since I'd be dwelling on it for a month. I tore that damn room apart from top to bottom, brought the dog in to sniff around(she didn't find anything, nor was she really interested in hanging out in my now messy room), and found her curled up less than 3 feet from where she escaped from.

Sometimes I think they do things just to cheese us off...

Good to hear all turned out well.

Aww yeah I think snakes sometimes like to piss us off lol. But im glad you all found them! My snake is still a baby and he likes to go all the way @ the top of the tank in the grooves and I saw him trying to get out one day and I freaked! Lol I put so many bricks on there that he didn't want to even attempt to go up there when I put him back in his little cave ^_^

once when i was going out of town i was bringing some snakes over to the people who were gonna look after them, and when i got there i was unloading and the last bag had no snake in it! i was freaked, because i knew that if i didnt find it right away i would have to go away anyway, and it would be stuck in my car parked at the airport. you know where i found her? curled up in the spare tire!
