i know that there is some Boas that get big and some stay normal
can some one tell me the names of some of the big ones(10 ft)i also would like one that gets dark as an adult

Hi,
Many of the BCC can get that large most have a dark or burgandy red tail.
I have seena couple wild caught that seemed alot darker.
Another Darker Boa's is the Argentine.

wow thats too huge are there any who stay at about 7 ft.

Most boa constrictors, if you get a male, will stay at 6-7 feet, but some gargantuan specimens can occur. For example, my male Hades, who measures in at 7'2":

And even bigger yet is Zeus, I don't have an exact measurement, but he's well over 8 feet and 25 lbs:

These are not common specimens though. Most male Colombian boa constrictors will top out at 6 feet, females at around 7 or 8.

As boas get longer, they get thicker

Argentines (Bco) are said to be the largest of the Bc complex. Bcc and Colombian Bci usually stay around 6-8.5 feet on average. If you get a 10 footer it isn't all too common. Many people are under the belief that Bcc are monsters, while they rarely exceed a managable size.
