Trip tp Hamburg w/ Photos

so...made it to hamburg and back and it was a great show.
Lots of selection and people....had a chance to meet GreggM!!!!

I picked up a couple new snakes for myself.

LARGE female dusky pygmy

Look at that face!

also picked up a HUGE female white lipped tree viper (T. albolabris)

This snake is unbelievable, has to be seen in person, she is amazing.
Pretty nippy, but she makes up foe her attitute with her looks!

....and of course, I couldnt be 1.5 hours away from Philly with the Leafs playing there the very next night and NOT go.
So.....we went to the Leaf game on Sunday and endured the extreme attitude of the hopeless Flyer fans {eww}

All in All a good trip, but it would've been nice if the Leafs won!
Matt....do you agree or disagree or not disagree?
Lemme know whatcha think about the snakes!

Dude, that white lipped viper is AMAZING looking!!!!

That's pretty freaking awesome to be able to get to a game out there.. How was the atmosphere there??? And i definatly do not disagree that it would have been damn fine to go to that game!!!

matt, the atmosphere was nothing short of hostile.....i went to a playoff game against carolina 2 years ago, it was friendly name calling and gloating.

this was just scarey....the name calling was taken to a new level and spiced up with some throwing of debris!
oh well, i guess being a flyer fan will make you angry and hostile, when all you have to look up to is J.R. that must take its toll mentally y'know!

gregg, it was good to meet you too, i had fun man! now its your turn to come to the toronto expo.
the sawscale was very upset after the ride home....made a couple attempts on my life while moving him to a bigger cage.
but the rubbing of the scales makes it all worth it....so cool.
thanks for convincing me, worked out good!
