Rubbermaid for hoggy

Hey all,
urg today has been extremly stressful trying to get my rubbermaid setup to work for my ball python anyways after many failed attemps I ended up switching my ball python to my hoggies 10 gal tank( after disenfecting it of course) and my hoggy to a smaller rubbermaid (20cms by 15 cms by 8 cm). I think this will help bob feel more secure as his 10 gal tank may have been possibly to wide open for him. I put in the bedding 3 cms thick and on hide box and a water bowl. I have to get a proper thing for my UTH so i don't burn him but for tonight will he be ok at room temp( high 60's sometimes in the low 70s). Can anyone tell me what i will need to setup an addiquite cage for bob? i;m still new with rubbermaids and have had no luck so far. I have a bigger rubbermaid at my friends house which i;m going to get and i'll set up everything in that and then add bob. Any tips or good website that anyone knows that could help me would be soooooo helpful. Thx a million
Kayla

You might try a human heating pad instead of a UTH. You can get them with settings for Low, Medium and High. Just make sure you don't get one with auto-shutoff. They usually come with a cloth cover to keep it from coming in direct contact with the rubbermaid. These usually don't get way too hot as many reptile heating pads do.

I couldn't get the temp up high enough and i had to buy a dimmer for the UTH so it wouldn;t get to hot, also it didn't have a secure enough lid and i couldn;t keep humidity up gih enough so I switched it to the 10 gal and things are going much more smoothly. SO i'll probably keep her in it for now until she gets bigger and keep bob in the rubber maid till he gets bigger. I just need some tips on how to properly set up a rubber maid for my hoggy thx alot

uth/human heat pad with dimmer
digitial thermometer

water bowl
hides,
substrate
bungies/big rubberbands! Obviously put the bungies/rubber bands at each end and in the middle of the rubbermaid and you will have no escapes!

Nicky ,you can get these office style clips at Dollarama which are great for securing rubbermaids. I put one on either side in the centre and it makes the lid very secure, better than weighting it.They come in different sizes, the bigger size works great for the sweater box style. Hope this helps.
