Leon's Cage
So today I set up the cage for Leon ... I am putting a branch reaching from the top to the bottom on the right, and adding some more green tomorrow, but it is essentially finished.

Jason,
Why don't you use live plants rather than silk ones? Also, how do you deal with drainage with those clear bottoms. I would think that would be a pain with the amount of water needed to go through the cage on a regular basis?

Chris,
I dont use live plants for one simple reason; when I did, my sister who sleeps in the room next to me had an allergic reaction (asthma acted up) to something in the soil so I had to throw it away. There were also bugs on it (after I washed it with hot soapy water) which freaked my mom out (which is weird because she does not care about the bugs I bring in to feed them).
The drainage really isn't a pain because I will be putting down some paper towels to absord the majority of the water and keep humidity up. I will just replace the towel once a day ... I find that easier even if it does mean more work for me - lol.
