scanner monitoring

anyone in here into scanner monitoring? such as fire/police. if so what do you listen to and what scanners do you use?


i listen to dover twp. nj fire, berkley twp. fire, ocean county ems, and sometimes seaside heights police. i have a uniden sc200.

I had borrowed a buddy's scanner once a few years ago, it was really cool. however, I don't think i can say what i listened to here. I also would listen to airport stuff and some police.

point of advice, those 800-900mhz cordless phones aren't secure.

yeah. they arn't. i had my scanner going once and the phone rang and when i answered it i could hear the conversation on hte scanner.
