No, not a FL. blue striped. I'm not too certain that's a valid ssp. anyway He was found here in Tampa, where we have a few looks but most look like this one. The "blue striped" (garters and ribbons) are supposedly found near the Gulf Hammock region of the state.

I saw one of those when i was up north at a friends cottage..it had a yellow stripe though..what would that one be called?
The little ******* almost bit me lol, came to close...

Neat anyways. Almost looks like it has a blue tint to it. Might be just the camera, though. Pretty nice looking for a wild one, the guys I saw this weekend were all beat up and a lot were missing pieces..

He was roughly 16" or so I'd say. Yes there are some much more blue for sure. I'll have to get pics of each one I see now!

I hope I have some luck this summer. I'm headed to Florida from late June to Late August. I will be in Brevard county area. Man, I hope my camera gets its use in Florida.
