Kali-Ma (Sumatran Red)
Sweet lil thang just hit my doorstep today as my first herp via FedEx and she was COLD. So sluggish I was worried - but I let her sit in my hands a bit until she soaked up a bit of heat and transferred her in for her acclimation. May have set her down TOO gently as my lingering hand made my wrist an irresistable target for a quick peck. Snapped a couple of quickies before I left her alone to settle in:

Wow! She's beautiful! Congratulations and good luck with her. That quick peck was just to tell you she loves you. *L*

Thanks all - that's high praise, indeed - I'll make sure I pass it on to her lol. Mighty lucky draw, that.

Gotta say so far she is living up to her name - goes after anything moving in her cage - the bigger, the warmer the better (read hands). No hiss either. She's still settling in though - making herself right at home in that ambushy way they will when they can burrow. I have to seriously scope for her before i reach in to change her water - have a gander:
