Good Source For Dead Things
I need a good source for food for my snakes. I'm looking for rats (I know hard to come by), rabbits, mice and possibly chicken and small quail. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

For rats and mice, you can try Ian at mouseman.ca, he's in B.C. also, and has great product at very reasonable prices.

If you're in the Lower Mainland, check out the Langley Livestock Auctions. Great place for quails, chicks and rabbits.

There is a woman on Vancouver Is who provides dead bunnies. I am begining to buy some off of her for my big girl. If intereseted, let me know and I will ask her if I can give you her number.

If you are located in the Lower Mainland area, I sell vacuum sealed mice and occasionally have rats available. If you live on the island, you could try Coast to Coast mice.
Take care

I was reading a tread on Bob Clark's forums a while back about the saftey of feeding chicken to snakes. Apprently it's been proven that the risk is minimal, if I remember correctly.

What part of BC are you in? I breed rats for myself (not many extra) but if you're not looking for too many I might be able to help you.
