while were on the topic i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice for what to do. One of my friends has a red eared slider and he keeps it in a 10 gal tank without a filter its so horrible to see the poor thing locked up like that i've offered to buy it a new tank or filter or clean the cage but hes becoem really stupid ever since his girlfriend left him and blah blah blah anyways i just want the turtle to get a new home or for him to treat it better. What should i do if i call human society will they fine him? I've tried talking to him i dunno i just want the turtle to be fine but i don;'t really wanna see him go to jail for animal crulty i was considering stealing it i dunno any advice the sooner the better. Also its shell is like peeling its heart breaking to see and hes had like that for twelve years i really don;t knwo what to do any advice would be great
