food for my tegu

Hey everyone!

My tegu has started eating like a pig -- she's about a year old, and not exactly huge, but the yesterday she had a dish of fruit and a ton of crickets (about 15) and then I was going to give her a pinkie. Well after I did, she still seemed like she was hungry, so I ended up giving her 3 in total (and large ones, not the tiny day-olds or anything.) Today after I fed my monitor, I had a bit of extra ground beef so I put it in her dish to see if she wanted any. And she ate ALL if it!! I've never seen her eat even CLOSE to this much before, and as I am typing this she is still motoring around as if she's looking for food. Is there something else I can give her to satisy her newfound appetite? And is it normal to see such a dramatic increase in it?

I'm not too familiar with tegus, rather I'm more comfortable with care of monitors, but I can relay some info that I currently have. At the store I work at, the food that I provide for our tegu's menu could be crickets, appropriately sized mice, watermelon cubes, cantaloupe, crushed banana and strawberries.
About the increase in appetite, has there been any change in the temps possibly signalling an "early springtime" reaction? I'm just reaching here, so if anyone else would like to contribute some info, please do.

Hi!
It's very normal, tegus eat like champs. Sometimes mine seem to walk with pain after a big meal
