My Christmas gift from Wuntu Menny
Here is what Lowell Shaw (Wuntu Menny) gave me for a christmas present 2 weeks ago. It is a juvenile Gheyra Vorax gecko. Hes absolutely awsome and eats everything in sight, also loves baby food and oranges. I have him in a 30 gallon on its side so its vertical with a lot more room. Heres some pics,
Note* I do have UV on the cage but I had to move it for the pics.
his cool green eyes
with lights
without
Thanks for lookin,
Jeff Terborg

Brave lad, handling that little monster already. He seems to be calming down a little, I'm glad to see your both getting along. Any bites yet?
I'd lay off the citrus fruits, they're not supposed to be very good for them. The same goes for other acidic stuff like pineapple etc. I still haven't been able to find the exact reason why, but I figure its best to err on the side of caution.
Happy HoHo!

Yay! I have two from Wuntu too. Say that fast 5 times They are so awesome. Gotta love the little nibbles they give. You know, the nip, the nawing, the twisting of tender skin, the shaking of the tender skin as they try to tear peices off..........aren't they sweet?!

I use banana in the mix that I premake. If I'm doing a quickie prep with baby food, I'll often add some banana puree to it. With a lot of tropical fruit hard to get right now, I've been mixing peach, apricot, and banana purees together and they go nuts for it.

I imagine that its a pretty "messy" process of feeding them pinkies. It sure was when I had some Tokays lol.
