Idea for the Chat Room?

Just a suggestion,

Would it be possible to make the Icon for the page light up in blue when somebody writes something new in the chat room .. this way you know when there are new messages or when someone has come on instead of having to regularly check and switch pages...

(if u don' quite understand what i mean .. hmm .. u know MSN .. the bottom icon turns blue when u have a new message.. well .. could we do the same thing?)

I agree. I rarely ever go in ther cause i never know when people are in there, and when i do go in there to check, there is never anyone in there.

its a good idea, but think about it. like i know that most of the time there is something new every 5 - 15 sec but ya i seem to also wonder of from the window and go and drowl at pictures of cars or snakes. well the blue i dea is cool but i am just wonding if mirc has a program that will allow the icon glow.

i was just in the chat and no one else was there, so lance comes in right when i decided to look at pictures on kingsnake. so than i come back toi the chat not knowing lance was there and than he was gone. well i think we should have some way in notifying (sp) us when someone is in the chat. well i think its an awsome idea. now that i missed someone due to something else going on in another window.

mIRC is a program to go on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) ...
it is possible for you to turn on an option in mIRC that flashes your minimised mIRC windows when something new is up in the channel....
Just use mIRC instead of the java and you wont miss anybody...

Just dont be afraid to go to the options and look all of them.. They are many little things that can be usefull..
try them out...

I'm sure that alot of people are happy using the program the way it is without having to download Mirc (myself incuded - I sued to have it but I'd rather use that space on my computer for something else......). I really like that idea as well, is it possible to make it work for us that arent using Mirc?

i use invision script for mirc or excursion but u can get all sorts of scripts from http://www.mircx.com/ there are scripts there

Its impossible to make the screen light up unless you are using the mirc client... the program is actually very user friendly, it just takes a little while to get the hang of! Sorry guys, wish i could help more!
