Another Cage Question
Hi All,Would any one know where to buy a screen cage in canada like the ones you see at Scales or lllreptile.I know there prices are good, but after you add the exchange into American bucks, then shipping and once it hits Canada.duty,Gst,Pst,and UPS brokerage it`s not such a good deal after all.I know building my own would be fun and all but na,no time for that.I need a 24x24x48.If anyone has a reptile store that sells them or knows a builder of these cages, please post.Thanx

Thanks Guys,But I really want those metal framed ones that have the big front door and little bottom cleaning door. That are on hindges.the enclosures I have now are metal framed but have doors on the ends but have spring latches and the whole door comes off and you have to put it some place that you dont trip or step on it.then try to get back together before the crix start jumping out of it.Maybe dank700 will have a line on those cages.

Jason doesn’t use aluminum caging, he uses the Reptariums as well.
My tool box consists of a screwdriver, a hammer and maybe a vise-grip, so I can not make my own cages, I buy them. I understand the time issue you’ve got as well, but do you have any friends or family that like to build things? Maybe supply them with the materials, cage plans and a case of beer.
You can always contact Greg West on this site. He makes AWESOME cages, is located in Calgary and I know he can ship unassembled cages Canada wide. Drop him an email or PM for pricing.
Cheers!
Trace

Thanks for the plug Trace. Let me know what type of cage you are looking for. I can sell either wood framed wire mesh cages, pvc coated wire mesh cages, or wood framed pvc coated wire mesh cages.

UGH! I've got a mish-mash of cages here. Some custom made ones and some Reptariums, but they all work. Some day when I win the lottery, investments pan out, or marry rich, I want a wall (or two) of custom made cages, that all look the same with drip pans, with automatic misting systems and lights etc etc. One can dream right?
Cheers!

Wow, hey dreams can come true as well if it does happen im gonna have to come and check it out!!! Does aluminum rust???, and one more question, what do you do when you put you cage beside a wall, do you put a bag or something behind the cage??? cause when you mist it goes through the mesh , im using a plastic bag jsut wondering what you use???

I rarely have overspray on my walls as I tend to spray downwards on the chameleons and their cage furniture. Underneath the cages, I've got catch pans and buckets for the excess water.
Cheers!
