Western Hognose Feeding Montage *PICS*
Here is my largest female H. nasicus enjoying four smaller sized hopper mice.
Not too excited yet, she's still in her feeding container.
Starting to get a little over-excited (slithering around with mouth agape), you'll notice she's no longer in her feeding container but has flung herself out in a fury of feeding responses. A nice view of the epiglottis too.....
Mouse #3 just about gone......
This is a great photo as you are able to discern the rear-fang apparatus.
And there you have it! I hope you enjoyed these photos.
