Skinny or Fat ?

how do i know if my chams are skinny or fat? i cant tell with max .. .he eats about 10 crix a day, slightly LARGER than the width between his eyes ... and he doesnt poop every day :S ... so i could i tell if he is skinny or normal?

Hmmmmm thats a really good question, my chameleon sometimes look like hes full but hes skinny after when hes feed, i have no clue!

I've heard to look at them while they're sleeping... that's their "true" weight.

i fed him a few more and he went at them like gang busters so ... when he is sleeping he looks a little cheubby, so i will at least assume that he isnt underweight

when their tails are round (fat)instead of oval(skinny). Or they are skinny if you can see the ridge down their backbone. You don't know what it looks like until you see it though.
But i prefer to say "healthy" or "unhealthy". I think a cham would refuse food before putting on an unhealthy amount of weight!

i was more refering to gut ... sometimes i see ribs, other times he has a pot belly ...

you should be able to see the ribs I heard. Not unhealthy to see the ribs.
