mealworm beetle?

I found this in my tegu tank today. I am almost positive its a meal worm beetle because it cant be anything else but is it harmful if my tegu eats it. Its perfect size for my tegu since mine is still a baby. Should i also clean out the substrate so this doesnt happen again? im pretty sure there are some meal worms roaming around in the mulch.

thanks in advance
