Cage size

Hi; We have a very large cage for our Macklot Python. It is

36" x 36" x 72" and the base is 4' x 4' and the whole thing stands 94" high.

She loves the cage with all the trees and stuff. We are trying to sell her with her cage but it is hard to ship a cage that size.
My daughter was told that if the snake is put in a smaller cage she will get sick and die. Anybody know if there is any truth to that?

I don't think there is any truth to that at all. Most snakes prefer a closed environment. It makes them feel more secure.
