What kind of route does a horse do if:
1- he always walks in the same direction
2- does more distance on 2 of his legs and less on the 2 other?

Here is a mind-bender I faced in a recent standardized test:
A man is taken captive by a primitive tribe on some island. He is asked by the tribe's chief to make a single statement. He is informed that if his statement is false then he will be boiled in oil, if his statement is true then he will be hanged. The man makes his statement and is set free. What was his statement?
