Help???Crickets

Hi everyone i was just wondering if some 1 could help me.I have about 5-7 Cricket egg containers on the go.I have cling wrap on the containers with holes for air and im using soil.The containers are kept at a temp around 80 and the humidity around75-80 the problem is that im getting mould on the top of the soil it looks almost like white angle hair is this bad?Should i remove it?or let it be i just don't want to disterb the eggs please help if you can.Thank you in advance B.J

Hi,
if there is mold growing on the dirt it is probably because there is not enough airflow. If you keep the cricket egg containers in an enclosed box you dont need the plastic wrap on top, just make sure the humidity stays high.
But as for right now, I don't think removing or leaving the mould would do much harm to the cricket eggs. Crickets lay a gazillion eggs and bury them deep in the soil (well, relatively deep for a cricket) so even if you did kill a few I don't think it would greatly affect the total number of babies that hatch. For safety's sake, I'd carefully remove as much of the mold as possible, but I wouldn't worry too much.
