Something fishy: the sequel

We got a couple of plants yesterday, a water hyacinth and what I beleive to be a dwarf papyrus. Got a small in-tank fluval for my 40l tub...still no fish. Just can't decide. I guess its all good though, Let the water cycle for another couple of weeks. The question..I'm now looking into Japanese killifish, ricefish, or as we call them in the homeland "medaka" (Oryzias latipes). I know they're used extensively in the scientific research field but I don't know if they're around as pets. I have a feeling I saw them a few years back when I was still into fish. Anybody seen them around recently? Any info?
