Finally Canada's first Tremper strain patternless albino.

Well after 2 breeding seasons and almost 200 eggs I finaly hatched one out.

I had orginally purchased a group of double het for Tremper patternless albinos in 2001. I bred them and produced a ton of babies but no patternless albinos. I did however hold back some of the female albino 66% poss hets for patternless and patternless 66% poss het for albino from last year. This year I bred an unrelated double het male to these females and I got what I was after, a Tremper patternless albino. He/she was the product of a double het male and an albino 66% poss het for patternless female which is now 100% het for patternless.

You can see the patternless 100% het for albino clutchmate for comparison. Hmmm Tremper giant patternless albinos I wonder what they would look like. LOL

Here are some pics.

Take care

Dan

Thanks everyone

Snow

I originally purchased my Double hets from crested gecko.com in the U.S.

It is not the first Tremper Patternless albino in the world there are others but they are very rare to date. Garrick of crestedgecko has produced a handful of them this year. The reason it was so exciting to produce one is that now I can breed it into the Tremper giant strain and produce some huge screamin patternless albinos.

I have produced a pile of the Rainwater patty albinos but these would be a long haul to work into the Tremper giants due to the incompatability of the albino strains.

It also means that all the Tremper albino lovers out there can get a patternless albino which is compatable.

Now all if my double het for blazing blizzards would do the same it would really make my summer. LOL

The other phases in the pic are patternless 100% het for Tremper albino and one of my baby Ray Hine Hypo carrot tail hatchlings, I was running out of incuabtion boxes and had to stick some eggs together.

I will not have any of the Tremper patty albinos for sale this year but will have some available next year as well as Tremper Giant albino X Tremper patternless albino babies. I have a pair of Tremper Giant albinos that I am growing up for next season. It should be interesting!!!

That's an awsome baby!!
Do you have a website? If not you should definately get one!! I'd love to see all your leos and maybe you could even share your genetic understanding. lol. I'm terrible with genetics!
