ever since i got my BP's i've kept the same rourine as far as the heat, and the first couple of times they shed it wasn't in one piece, but i was told that was normal so i stuck w/my routine and last month they both shed at the same time and in one piece.does that mean they are healthy(is that a sign)what are some obvious signs of a healthy snake(ball python)?
They shed in one piece last time probably because the humidity was higher in your house. The previous sheds were most likely closer to winter (very dry). Yes, it is ONE sign of a healthy snake. And no, incomplete sheds shouldn't be "normal".
This winter, put a humid hide in the cage... a simple tupperware container with a hole cut in the lid containing damp moss, paper towel, peat, etc..
