Hi All
I cannot for the life of me remember if I posted here before. I registered a while back, but have had problems signing back on, but just got that fixed.
I have been into herps (one of my first loves as hobbies go) for a long time, about 36 years now. Started off with red Earred Sliders, graduated to Anoles, then to some other turtles and snakes. I've kept snakes, turtles, lizards, newts and salamanders, frogs and toads. I've bred a few species of snakes (all N/A colubrids except for African House Snakes). My favorites are the snakes for sure, but I like em all. Right now I am keeping: 1 Musk Turtle, 2 Bearded Dragons, and about 30 snakes. I have: 1 Eastern Milk Snake, 2 Sonoran Gophers, 2 Desert Kings, 2 Bairds Rats, 2 Rubber Boas, 2 Western Hognose, 18 Ball Pythons, and 1 Rainbow Boa. Also have a cat, 2 dogs, a wife and a girl and a boy!
I like to write about my herp experiences, and have written articles for local herp societies and for the International Herpetological Society in England. I have one submitted to Reptiles Mag right now - keep your fingers crossed for me please, although I don't hold out much hope it sure would be nice to get published for real.
Other interests include firearms, shooting, hunting, fishing, travel, hiking, finer ales and beers, sci-fi, reading, forensic psychology, and writing.
I live in Mineola, NY, about 15 miles east of NYC.
I have a herp related home page at: herp helper
Hope to share some herp info and some fine conversation here on the forums. If I ever get to opinionated dont feel bashful, let me know, or just reach out and:grab: me and shake me up a bit.
Best regards,
Glenn B

Welcome to SsnakesS Glenn! I'm having problems reading some pages on your website....take a look at this, maybe it's just my browser alone?: Toads

I have been trying to get those articles fixed on my site. I think it is an AOL glitch. I may have to delete them all and reload them all, a project for a weekend.
Thanks for all the nice welcomes.

I am in the process of reloading my herp articles on my home page: herp helper
For some reason they started coming up all screwy. I changed how I link them to the home page and now place each article on a page of its own. I have two loaded so far, let me know what you think.
Best regards,
Glenn B

Greeting and welcome on board. My name is Chuck and I live the southeastern United States. My main interest is North American pit vipers, but I also know a little about giant pythons. Let me know if I can be of any help.
