CH balls, depending on the source where you get them from, can be anything from non-feeding mite cases to healthy babies with an excellent appettite. Again, its all about who starts them. If you do decide on a CH ball be careful who you are getting one. Also, when you purchase CH balls you are not supporting our own breeders that work very hard to produce quality animals, and instead are supporting the people that take the shortcuts and the whole farming industry, which is really quite unecessary since these animals can be successfully bred in captivity. Animals are still being taken from the wild to have eggs collected, etc, and IMO this isn't the way it needs to be with all the progress in captive breeding.
