Exclamation DIY boa cage HEATING???!!!

Ok so i have a new baby bci boa. She is currently in a temp cage and i hate it bc the temps swing if the temps in the house change. My house is around 68-72 degrees. Im about to go on a goodwill hunt for a cabinet type thing to convert into an enclosure. Saw a how to online. My question is can i use the UTH and 100 watt CHE that i have? I want to buy another thermostat for the CHE. The ambient needs to be right at 80 degrees. Im trying to keep costs down bc it will be quite a while before she is big and i want to eventually get her a professional cage as an adult.

UTHs require glass bottoms with air gaps below them. If you wish to use an UTH then you will need to install a glass/acrylic floor in the bottom of the cabinet that is open to the air below it.

For the CHE, they sell cages that go around them to protect snakes from the CHE. I've hit CHEs with a temp gun, their surfaces exceed 400F.
