Rainbow Boat Trouble

Posting for a friend and coworker.
She recently bought a baby Brazilian at an expo and it had a small scab on his head that we didn't think much of.
It has gotten bigger over the last 3 weeks, despite putting SSD cream and cleaning it well. It is dry and doesn't smell at all.
We are at a loss as to what the problem could be.

That looks kind of serious to me. Do you have a reputable reptile vet in your area?

That is highly abnormal. Contact the seller as well as a vet.
