Timber Rattlesnake
My reputation as a snake lover/wrangler has spread through a lot of my wife's friends. One of them called last weekend and asked if I wanted to come get this timber rattlesnake before they killed it. Of course, I did.
I find these somewhat commonly in the wild and photograph them. They're one of my favorite snake species in the world.
Crotalus horridus
