Hello,
So I’ve had my sand boa for about a month and a half now and until now I’ve had no issues. Today while handling it, I noticed 2 cute on his back. In his enclosure he has a water dish and crushed walnut for substrate so I’m not sure what could have caused this. Any help would be great.

Are there any edges on the water dish which could cut him?
How about any fake plants, decorations? Some fake plants have metal wires through them so they can be shaped. Could this be the case?
