Feed 3yr Old Male Boa every 2 or 3 weeks?

I have a 3 year Old Male Boa (turned 3 last month).

I am feeing him 1 x Large Rat every 2 weeks.

I now have in stock XL Rats.

Should I feed him one of these every '2' or '3' weeks?

Thanks,

Simon

4-5 weeks would be my suggestion.

Genuinely boas do not do well on more frequent feeding. As I said in another post I'll agree to differ on feeding some snakes more often but not boas.

An xl rat at 3yo is a huge meal also. Given he's fed every two weeks up till now I'd slowly start spacing it out to hit the 4-5 week mark by the end of the year.

Frequent feeding of boas can dramatically shorten their lifespan.
