I need help identifying a snake

I am currently in vilcabamba, Ecuador. Whilst walking through a slightly dense dry wooded area I came across a dark green snake with a black tip to its tail. It was around 1-2 meters long and about 1-2 inches in diameter. It's scales were all the same color and not very distinct individually. I would love to find out what snake this is.

Thanks
