Poop smells!

So I get up this morning and start the coffee like I always do, and then go into to check on my guys... I walk into my snake room and it's obvious! somebody pooped... I take a quick look and find it {It's moe} and I go outside to sit and have my first cup of coffee... Usually I immediately go into clean up mode, but I want a cup of coffee first... I was sitting thinking, that is as good as they can smell, I'll bet they real appreciate it when it's cleaned up... And then I thought, are they capable of appreciation?... So if so how would I know?... I wish I could read their little minds...

I don't know if they appreciate it either sattva but I'd like to think they do. My critters seem to stay on the opposite side of where they made their mess.

Yes this is very true. My retic poops in the corner and away from her hide. Same goes for my leopard gecko. She only poops on the opposite side. NEVER poops by her hides.

mac does the same thing. if he happens to poop in his favorite spots he will avoid them until i clean it up.
