I'm probably committing a sin here but unless the snake has a specific humidity requirement (GTP or rainbow boa for example) I don't worry too much about humidity. I must the Boa some days and make sure humidity doesn't get too low < 50% but other than that it fluctuates between 50 and 80 %.
Never misses a shed and always sheds in one piece.
In a number if cases too much humidity is worse than too little and I certainly wouldn't entertain an auto mister for most snakes. Way OTT imo unless you are in a very dry part of the world.
