I feel blessed this morning!

Last night was feeding night for my three guys, so I went out of my way to make sure to get a little holding time in.

1st Was Fred... I always try to catch him out and about and not to tangled up around his stick. He's quick, trying to grab anything he can on the way out... Now from what I have read these guys don't like just being grabbed... But at this point I don't see any other choices... If I touch him he jumps and gets squirrely and I think that causes him more stress... From what I have read {as if I can trust this anymore} these are more for observation then holding kind of snakes, but I have to say fred calms right down after a couple of minutes and lets me pet his head and everything. My wife even held him last night for the first time... When it time to go home Fred goes back real easy.

2nd Was Ralph... Unfortunately Ralph had his tail wrapped around his little bush and by the time I got him unwrapped he was real mad... He bit me and drew blood and as I grab a paper towel to stop the bleeding he bit me two more times... It was a bloody brawl it was... were having fun now! He calms down in a few minutes and everything is cool now, and my wife even holds him, also for the first time. When it's time to go home I have to pry him off my hand.

Last, but definitely not least is George... He so cool... He doesn't get squirly; he doesn't bite me... He really is mellow yellow! My wife always steals George from me... Never thought my wife would get into snakes with me... George! He's not crazy about going home... I guess it's ok to have one flaw...

Yes I am blessed! Everybody is pooping and everybody eat last night... life is good...
