Re: Help figuring out my boas locality?

The closest i can come up with is South American. Since there are about ten subspecies of the red tail boa that is recognised he can originate from several possible locales. That is a guess with my limited experience with boas. Lol.

Same, the lack of red on the tail is what makes me think that

Re: Help figuring out my boas locality?

It is not possible to determine the locality of a boa by just looking at it, any boa of unknown origin should always be labelled 'Boa Constrictor' nothing more and nothing less. We would just be guessing, a mix of locality A and B might end up looking like locality C. Could even be a BCI/BCC mix.. Call it what it is: A Beautiful snake, nice pattern.

Like everyone else said, it's impossible to tell.

But, this is an excellent book on the subject: http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Boa-C.../dp/0978897927
