Baby BP keeps trying to strike my family.

Hi everyone, I have a 4-5 month old normal bp that keeps trying to strike at my husband and daughter. He's pretty mellow for me, although he has gotten me a few times when we first got him. Any suggestions?

Re: Baby BP keeps trying to strike my family.

A couple of questions come to mind that could help:

Is he striking them when they first get him from the enclosure? Are they doing it differently to how you do it? Are they putting in time holding him and getting him used to them? (just because you mention he did it with you to begin with) Is he more mellow after you've been holding him awhile and could then transfer him to them for him to get used to their movements/scent etc?

I will admit I'm a relative beginner but they are just some questions that popped to my mind.

Honestly my husband has no interest in holding him. I do not allow my daughter to take him out of the enclosure, although she has held him quite a few times.

Its still quite young and should outgrow the behaviour in a few months as he gets bigger.
