Screen clips?

Hey everyone, I'm new here and new to snakes (recently took a fancy corn they needed to rehome) and new to lizards besides the one green anole I had when I was a kid. I'm making an order on a reptile/amphibian site because they have 25% off. I know I need screen clips for my snake but do I need the for lizards too? If a light is going to sit on the tank isn't that enough weight for a crested gecko or anole for example? Thanks -Rob

depending on the type of lid (brand helps us know the design) it may be fine. However if in doubt order the clips. better to have them and not need them than to save a couple bucks and have something escape.
