30+ gallon tank big enough for 2 cornsnakes?

I bought this 30g+ fish tank and the snakes from a co-worker (she said I was going to get the full setup, but I think I was the one was set up. so I gotta go shopping next week for supplies. Luckly its spring here in MI. Bought'em for cheap so not too upset about it.) and I was wondering if this tank is big enough for 2 fully grown female cornsnakes? I'm completely new to snakes/reptiles. Also I was wondering what morphs/paintjob do they have?

Hello, I am still new at this but most will not recommend keeping any snakes together regardless of tank size or gender. All snakes have the possibility of being cannibalistic. I'm not sure about tank size or morphs, but I'm just concerned with the welfare of the snakes.

Well they said they've grown up together their entire lives and their about 6-8yrs old (that's what my co-worker) and I've read many different things about its fine keeping 2 female cornsnakes togather, but alas I'm new. So I'll probably get new tank when I can. Thanks for your info. =D

No problem^.=.^ I like help when I can, I just wouldn't take the chance of walking in one day and see one or both snakes dead:/ again, I'm am also new, so a more experienced keeper may say otherwise. (As I don't keep snakes yet but have done a lot of reading and studying)

Snakes aren't communal animals. It doesn't matter if they 'grew up together' or not. They can be seperated and nothing will change for them.

To answer your other questions, a million and one paintjobs for cornsnakes.

Never keep snakes together unless breeding. Even then, use caution and keep an eye on them.

not popular but ive kept corns together, also pairs of gopher snakes.
But its a big pain in the behind. One is usually more stressed then the other and will stay hidden most of the time. Feeding is a pain too(especially if one is too shy to eat when removed from the tank). Its actually more work keeping them together then keeping them separated.

The only way I can say OK to keeping two snakes together is maybe a VERY large display tank. Something like 100 gallons or something like that with a natural setup. And then only with snakes that get the size of corns/most Ratsnakes.

It can be done, but is not something that should be attempted by anyone who is not extremely experienced. It requires a very large, naturalistic cage and a lot of planning. Even then, you need to keep a close eye on them for signs of stress, hence the necessary experience. Otherwise, the snakes pose a danger to each other and will at least stress each other out.

Sorry, for the late reply I work a 12hr graveyard shift 4-6 days a week.
Thank you for all the info. I'll probably buy the zoo-med starter kits when I can and probably set the 30 gallon for something else, so far they've been doing fine and eating like they should, but one seems to be more active than the other is that normal?
How many mice/fuzzies should I feed them? So far I've only been feeding them one large fuzzy every 5 days and are the zoo-med starter kits even large enough for a fully grown female corn snake?

If you want to make more space for them in the existing tank you can work upward by building removeable shelves. Small to medium adult mice are fine for them as long as you feed separately every 7 to 10 days.
seriously its not the end of the world if you keep two adult females together for awhile. Its been done before with no ill effects. But I would go to petco this fall when they have the dollar a gallon sale and get another tank, either another 30(I think they are actually 29 gallon) or a nice big 40 gallon breeder(this is what I keep mine in).
Just my two cents.
Also I would put a second hide and put them on opposite sides of the tank until you can get another cage.They need a temp gradient, cool one side, warm on the other.
As far as the morph yours are I think the one is a normal/classic and the other looks like a motley butter corn but its hard to tell. A pic of them from overhead would be easier to see.
