Is my new BRB tank too big?

I got my Animal Plastic T3s in this last week and finished setting them up. One of them is housing my 4 year, 4.5' 1800g BP, and the other is supposed to house my 2 year, 4' 520g BRB. The footprint is 36X24.

Is this too big for my little BRB? Should I be keeping him in the tub I've been using until he gets bigger?

The husbandry is way easier to maintain in the T3 with the RHP and Flexwatt Belly Heat Pab, and I have three separate hides (all small enough for him to feel secure in), but I'm worried that he'll get stressed from the tank itself being so large at this point in his ontogeny.

Thanks for reading guys!

There is no such thing as an enclosure too big for your snake, it can only be too big for you! Just provide plenty of cover, and he'll be fine.

Thanks guys! I think I've got the cover, well, covered! Three hides, two pieces of driftwood, a couple fake vines and his big ceramic water dish.

More is always better, as long as they can travel from the warm side to the cold without breaking cover then he'll be fine no matter how big the big is.

"Too big" is one of those snake myths that always cracks me up...if too much space were really a problem, then how do snakes survive in the wild? ;-) Six feet is perfect for an adult male, and your juvie will happily grow into it.
