MBK cage setup

I've always preferred the look of nautral set ups, aquariums, ponds, terrariums etc. I'm in the planning phase of setting up an MBK cage. Hard to find examples on the net that aren't mislabeled. Lets see some MBK cages, I need some ideas.

Re: MBK cage setup

Yours helps give me an idea of branch thickness. Looking at the girth of a adult MBK I can use more thinner branches to increase climbing area.

Re: MBK cage setup

Congrats on the new MBK dude. They're fun snakes to keep. My girl Sasha Fierce hits her food harder than all my other snakes. I think your setup is pretty cool. I've got my girl in a 40gal tank and she's got plenty of room. Here's an older picture. Now I have the same large RBI hides you have.

Re: MBK cage setup

I haven't purchased anything yet (I move at the end of the month so no buying until after) but I've just decided it's the right snake for me and my cage. I'm just looking for ideas of decor to prep and set it up. So when I find one I'll have the cage already setup. I already have a UTH and RHP both both on Ranco stats and a seperate zilla thermometer/hygrometer to monitor the conditions. I also have a laser temp sensor from work (hvac mechanic). I feel I have my temps covered sensor wise. I have some shredded aspen already but I'll be switching to a finer shredding aspen bedding once my supply is depleted for appearance reasons. Still need to buy water dish, hides etc.

Re: MBK cage setup

I bought the book 'the art of keeping snakes' let you know if they have info about mbk cages. Haven't read it yet.
