ID questions

Hi all,

I started a topic awhile ago but I don't think it was posted successfully.
So here goes my story again: I began doing my work-study at a museum at a small college that I go to. And the work involves a lot of categorizing and identifying the herps that have been collected over the years. Oftentimes, I get stumped as I have very limited knowledge in IDing and I was wondering if I could post pictures of preserved herps (not all are in good condition) here on this website and get help from the members in terms of IDs. Thank you.

Re: ID questions

Very very interested to see what you are working with. You have your country set as Myanmar, South Asia has an incredible variety of indigenous snakes. Would be awesome to see the collection you're talking about. I do not know a whole lot about Myanmar's snakes but I would love to spend some time learning about them while trying to ID your specimens. You will need five posts before the forum will allow you to post photographs.

PS: I'm a nature aquarium buff as well and South Asia is also home to some of my favorite micro fish like Dario dario and a Myanmar native, Celestial Pearl Danio. All sorts of unique and beautiful fauna from that part of the world.
