Can I use this branch in my terrarium?

A few weeks ago my ficus plant died. I decided to keep it, because it had a pretty nice intertwined stump. A year ago I treated it with insecticide against aphids. Now I'm wondering if I could use this stump for my terrarium that has a corn snake in it?

Read the insecticide label to find what the residual duration is. You could always wash it in bleach or ammonia to be sure, but it might be easier to just get an untreated piece of wood.
