Oh books.

So my nephew has a book he wants to read every single day.
It is always an amusing book to read -
The information (Of lack there of) is pretty astounding.
I figured I share some -

This is a published children's book.

Re: Oh books.

Sheesh. I wonder what made those people feel they were qualified to write even a children's book on this subject? My daughter had one that had a couple of mistakes (boa called a python, etc.). I marked through the captions and relabeled them.

Re: Oh books.

I read your posting last evening and found myself thinking about it when I woke up this morning. I am very big on educating children about animals and other aspects of nature, and this book is so bad that I would be compelled to write to the publishing company to advise them of all their errors. If they are a credible company at all, they would welcome the information and advise the author to correct the book before it is printed again. Who knows, you could end up with a new second job publishing your own book with actual correct information and photos.
