My Pair of Sorongs
I have had these guys for a little while now and I just realized that I haven't posted any pics yet. My favorite locale is the Sorong locale so I was super happy to end up with this pair. I got the female in a trade and the male I got from Doug Smith. Now I'm just waiting on a cage from Larry on here for a cage he is building for me for this pair. Very happy with these.
Here's the male. I really like the yellow behind his eyes but of course he wasn't going to come out and show it for the camera.
And here's the female, I have the watch myself around her. She always thinks she is going to get food.

Re: My Pair of Sorongs
Wow look at all that green. Love how these guys don't have the blue markings you usually see on sorong labeled chondros. Pretty unique. I would have guessed the female to have biak in her.

Re: My Pair of Sorongs
Some green tree females turn blue from mating(some keep the colors, others go back to green). And I think some designer green trees have the blue line bred into them.
But there are real blue gtp's for sure. No photoshop.

Not sure about common. Some people do, just like some people house other snakes together but I think the general consensus is that it's best to house them individually. At night many of them become heat seeking missiles that strike anything that moves. Wouldn't really be the safest thing to house two of them in a box.

Re: My Pair of Sorongs
Thanks for the comments everyone! I have really enjoyed having these guys. They are housed separately for who was wondering.
