Fast snake in pool needs id

Found this tiny guy in the pool size of a pencil told my girlfriend I would not hold it till I know what it is. My thought was an grey oaks snake but I don't really know

Water snake. He'll bite and musk but he's not venomous.

No I would know I eastern milk found them in pa where I just moved from he is back out in the brush safe and sound
