wild eggs

I found some eggs on an island in the lake,they are more long than long they were in a hole in the ground barrier with dirt I thought reptile eggs,but they are hard could they be turtle eggs and they,appear to have very faint dark bands around the top and bottom of the eggs.

I tried to bury them back in the hole.
