Woma Python
My family just surprised me with a Woma Python for christmas, knowing that I had been looking for a snake. I will not have my set up ready until tomorrow, because i will not be getting home until tomorrow, and i am worried about the temperature and the stress that the Woma will be subjected too. We keep the house at 25C, and i know that is on the cooler side for the Woma, so i am a little concerned. We also have a setup for a Brazilian Rainbow Boa that we keep the temperature at 30C, and i was curious if i put the Woma in a plastic container and put the container in the Brazilian setup, would that stress the two snakes out too much? Should my Woma be alright in the temperature we keep the house at?

I would be worried about quarantine.

Re: Woma Python
a plastic box, on a heat mat, or under a heat lamp, can become uncontrollably and dangerously hot, even with a thermostat controlling it (assuming the thermostat would be outside of the box, in BRB enclosure), it will act like a little green house trapping heat, not a good idea, and there is the issue of quarantine too.
if your house is a steady 25C (ie isnt going to drop to 10C during the night), then as long as you get setup asap tomorrow, one night at cooler temps isnt going to be very dangerous

Re: Woma Python
I agree with Korbin5895 on this one. I would keep the snakes separate for a quarantine period of at least 3 weeks.

Re: Woma Python
I feel stupid for forgetting about the quarantine, thank you guys. Is there any alternate solutions that you can think of? I'm new to Womas and while i've heard they are resilient, I have no experience and I would prefer not to test that. If we raised the temperature to 80 in the house, would she be alright overnight for just one night?
