Anyone else do show and tell?

For the last few years, I've taken some of the animals to my brother's elementary school for a reptile presentation. I'm planning on doing it again this year too! In addition I did a presentation for his friend's girl scout troop thingy. I'm just wondering-who all else does stuff like this for their kids or their younger siblings?

I just looked at your website for the first time, and I think that really is awesome. I love doing stuff like that and educating people about reptiles.

I would love to but I'm sure I'd need some sort of insurance.

Re: Anyone else do show and tell?

I did two college presentations where I brought in animals, for the END of my presentations, not for the duration of the talk. Touching and no holding at the very very end.

I was also in the boston area buying reptiles and my nephew happened to be having a birthday party so I stopped by. They figured out I had some torts and we had a little show and tell for the kids.

Re: Anyone else do show and tell?

i used to do this all the time with my university's herpetology club, it was always lots of fun... though most college kids dont have tons of really cool things, so it was mostly corn snakes, kings, and some geckos.

Re: Anyone else do show and tell?

I been asked to but the snakes i always get asked to bring are the ones i would never get out around kids.
Now i have let people bring their kids and grand kids to my house and do like a show a show and tell. I even let them get their pictures taking holding a couple snakes.
